St Augustine's Academy

Where we all shine

Behaviour

Creating an environment where children behave well and are kind to each other, enables a good foundation for great learning to take place.

At St Augustine's Academy we reviewed our school's Behaviour Policy with the whole school community.  From March 2018, our  new policy was put in place and we are very proud of how successful it continues to be.   Our pupils know and understand our three Golden Rules and work hard to achieve stickers, prizes and certificates.   You can read our Behaviour Policy by clicking on the link below.

Behaviour Policy

Our Behaviour Chart (as seen below) is an important part of our policy and is displayed throughout the school.

Anti-Bullying Week

At St Augustine's Academy we openly discuss various types of bullying and the effects that bullying has on others.   We take part in National Anti-Bullying Week through delivering a range of assemblies and class-based learning activities.   Our expectations of pupil behaviour are high and we believe that even though we are all different, we are all equal.
