Remote Learning
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, St Augustine's have provided a wealth of resources to help pupils continue with their learning at home. Throughout the first lockdown, Learning Packs were given to each pupil which contained work prepared by their class teacher. In addition, a pen or pencil, coloured pencils and a pencil sharpener were also given. Exercise books and additional work were then provided as required.
Since September, we have been working hard to ensure that we have provision for remote learning online. Staff are now trained in the use of Google Classroom and this is ready to be used should we need to.
The school is conscious that some pupils do not have access to the Internet and paper-based learning will be provided in these instances. Where families do not have laptops/tablets etc. then the school has a supply of tablets which can be loaned.
