Whole School Curriculum Map
Below you will find a copy of our Whole School Curriculum Map. Here you will find the details of the Curriculum delivered at St Augustine's Academy for each subject and each year group from Year 1 to Year 6. Most of our Curriculum is taught through discreet subjects to ensure that all necessary curriculum content is covered, however links are made to other subjects where possible.
The National Curriculum is followed for all core and foundation subjects. In addition, the school has introduced Forest School and The National Curriculum Outdoors. It also uses a bespoke scheme of work called 'SELF' which develops children's independence and resilience through its focus on self-awareness, self-esteem, self-control. self-sufficiency, self-motivation and self-reflection.
