Charity Work
The above photograph, shows one of the Dunstable town centre window displays, produced by our school, to promote Hedgehog Awareness Week.
At St Augustine's we are mindful of the needs of others and try to find ways in which we can help our community and the world we live in. To do this we support a range of charities throughout the year. We usually hold a special Collective Worship to learn about the charity, take part in a range of activities and make donations.
Below is a list of the charities that we currently support:
Children in Need - Mufti Day and Cake Sale
Bishop's Harvest Appeal and the Local Food Bank - Harvest donations
The Royal British Legion - Poppy Appeal
The Children's Society - Christingle
CHUMS - 'Shine Bright, Wear Bright'
Luton and Dunstable Hospital - Christmas Cards for Patients
Sports Relief/Comic Relief - Mufti Days
Keech Cottage Hospice - Staff room Food Boxes
Autism Awareness - Silly Socks Mufti Day
Hedgehog Awareness - Shop Window Display in Dunstable
