School Council

At St. Augustine's Academy, our pupils are given a voice and make contributions towards how the school is run.  The School Council plays a very important role in this.

Near the beginning of every academic year, each class from Reception through to Year 6 vote for two pupils, a boy and a girl, who they believe are good roles models and would be good ambassadors for our school.  These children then form the School Council.

The School Council meets regularly with a senior member of staff to discuss a range of issues; they help to organise fundraising events such as Children in Need and represent the school at various community events.

If your child has a suggestion or comment about school life then please encourage them to raise it with their school councillor.
