Creating an environment where children behave well and are kind to each other, enables a good foundation for great learning to take place.
At St. Augustine's Academy we are currently reviewing our school's Behaviour Policy. Following on from the results of our pupil, parent, staff and governor survey, we have created the following chart which forms the basis of our policy. We will be implementing our new policy from the second half of the Spring term.
At St. Augustine's Academy we openly discuss various types of bullying and the effects that bullying has on others. We take part in National Anti-Bullying Week through delivering a range of assemblies and class-based learning activities. Our expectations of pupil behaviour are high and we believe that even though we are all different, we are all equal.
