Our current value is 'Friendship'.
As a growing Church of England Academy, we are proud of the Christian values at the heart of all we do. We endeavour to educate the whole child and alongside academic study, we aim to ensure that we support our children's moral and social development. As the needs of our children change, we review and develop our choice and teaching of values in school. In this way, our values will always be relevant and have a positive impact in our school community.
Values are considered in depth during collective worship and embedded in all aspects of school life. This aspect of education gives children the language to express themselves. It supports and encourages us to celebrate success, promote high self-esteem and support reflection. This approach is successful because our whole school team are committed to weaving the values into their school day.
We encourage you to promote and discuss our current value at home; you may also find the prayers and bible verses below will help you.
I Said A Prayer For You Today
I said a prayer for you today and I know God must have heard,
I felt the answer in my heart although He spoke no word.
I didn’t ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn’t mind,
I asked Him to send you treasures of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that He’d be near you at the start of each new day,
To grant you health and blessings and friends to share the way.
I asked for happiness for you in all things great and small,
But it was for His loving care I asked for most of all.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16
