For the Year 2020 - 2021, the school has put in an additional 2.5 days per week of teacher support in order to deliver catch-up. Different 'Bubbles' of pupils access catch-up support each day. A designated room, resourced with an interactive whiteboard is being used solely for the purpose of catch-up delivery.
The progress of pupils is tracked through the use of grids relating to National Curriculum objectives for each year group. The delivery of catch-up is based on 'gap-filling' e.g. identifying what pupils need to know and then delivering lessons to address their needs.
For Key Stage 1, the delivery of additional Phonics support has been a key focus for catch-up.
